Financial planning involves a comprehensive review of an individual's finances to set and achieve financial goals. The Financial Planning minor at Illinois State supports a student's major area of study and promotes personal financial literacy including the principles of retirement planning, budgeting, tax and estate planning, and investments.
Point of Pride
The Institute for Financial Planning and Analysis, housed in the Department of Finance, Insurance and Law at Illinois State University, connects students with financial professionals through internships, mentorships, and job shadowing opportunities.
Why study Financial Planning?
