Technology
Overview
The Department of Technology prepares individuals to become technology-oriented professionals for an ever-changing environment. The Technology programs at Illinois State are primarily involved with management, operations, and maintenance of complex technical systems.
Students who wish to minor in Technology are required to consult with the undergraduate advisor in the department to craft a plan of work that meets their educational goals. Areas of study within the department include Computer Systems Technology, Construction Management, Engineering Technology, Graphic Communications, and Renewable Energy.
Point of Pride
The student organization in the Occupational Safety and Health program was recognized by the American Society of Safety Professionals (ASSP) in 2017 and 2019 as the best in the nation.

Applications open February 1-28 and September 1-30.
