Special Education - Learning Behavior Intervention Spec 2/Multiple Disabilities Spec

The Multiple Disabilities program is a 5-course sequence that prepares special education teachers to meet the needs of students with moderate, severe, and multiple disabilities, including preparing those teachers to utilize evidence-based practices in assessment, curriculum development, and instruction.

The Multiple Disabilities program is typically offered through a cohort model, with new cohorts beginning in odd numbered years. Cohort members can be students enrolled in the Master of Science program in the Department of Special Education, combining core courses and electives, or non-degree seeking students taking the courses as a stand-alone non-degree program. For additional information and advisement, please contact Karen Douglas, Assistant Professor.

This certificate requires 15 credit hours for completion.
