Implementation Team Actions:

  • Advertising resources explored. Human Resources (HR) has engaged with Historically Black Colleges and Universities publication to provide advertising options.
  • In addition, HR currently has contracts with Inside Higher Ed, Higher Ed Jobs; Illinois Job Network and Scholarly Hires which are funded by Human Resources and are free to hiring departments. Human Resources also has a contract for VITAE system which allows us to seek out passive job seekers as a means of enhancing our applicant pools.
  • These are all relatively new initiatives with the exception of Higher Ed Jobs.

Next step/Timeline:

  • Human Resources plans to evaluate each of these programs annually to assess whether our top candidates are finding us through these avenues. Contracts will be maintained so long as they prove fruitful.
