Anne Davis

Anne Davis received her bachelor’s degree in Elementary Education from Illinois State University in 1964 and served as a teacher in Harvey from 1964-1999. Ms. Davis earned her master’s degree in Counseling from Governors State University in 1976, and was inducted into Who’s Who in Teaching in 1988.

From 1978-1999, Ms. Davis also served on the Illinois Teachers’ Retirement System Board. She became president of the Illinois Education Association in 1999, where she served until 2005.

In 2004, Ms. Davis was elected to the University’s College of Education Alumni Hall of Fame.
