Program Overview
Presidential Ambassadors are highly skilled and experienced students who will represent the Office of the President at designated events and related University activities. Members of this group will interact with donors, alumni, community members, friends, faculty, staff, and the student body by sharing their unique Illinois State University experiences.

Application Process
Students must complete an application and interview process conducted by a committee appointed by the President of Illinois State University.
Up to twenty (20) Presidential Ambassadors will be chosen each year for this paid position and trained appropriately.
Requirements and Expectations
Ambassadors are knowledgeable about the campus and reliable in carrying out their assignments.
- Potential students must have a cumulative 3.25 GPA to qualify.
- Must be a sophomore, junior, and/or senior; and are eligible to serve multiple years.
- Presidential Ambassadors serve for one academic year at a time.
