Fewer than 45 earned and in-progress hours

A minimum 2.5 cumulative GPA (ISU or transfer)

45 - 59 earned and in-progress hours

  • A minimum 2.5 cumulative GPA (ISU or transfer)
  • Completed with a minimum grade of “C” or in progress in the current term:
    • ACC 131
    • ECO 101 and 102
    • MAT 120 or MAT 121/145

60 or more earned and in-progress hours

  • A minimum 2.5 cumulative GPA (ISU or transfer)
  • Completed with a minimum grade of “C” or in progress in the current term:
    • ACC 131
    • ACC 132
    • ECO 101 and 102
    • MAT 121 or 145
    • MQM 100 or ECO/PSY/POL 138

Students will complete BUS 100 and prove MS Competency (with a minimum grade of “C”) during their first semester as a COB major if they have not done so by the time of major change submission at 60 or more hours.

Note: Students must earn a minimum grade of “C” within two graded attempts in Tool courses. NO third enrollments permitted; a WX is not a graded attempt.

Other

  • Any major change, based on an ISU GPA, is calculated on a minimum of 12 earned hours
  • Non-majors are limited to 27 hours of COB coursework
  • ACC 131 requires a minimum of 12 earned hours (recommended for sophomore year)
  • FIL 185 requires a minimum of 30 earned hours.  200 level COB courses require a minimum of 60 earned hours

 

Minors

  • 2.0 minimum GPA required to apply
  • 200-level courses should be taken at ISU; any 100-level course can be transferred
