Point of Pride
Illinois State students complete their degrees on time. Our retention rate remains among the highest in the nation at over 78.6 percent, and our high graduation rate (69.1 percent) is well above the national average.
We're the only university in Illinois with advisors specially trained to work with first-year students. That's one reason why 79% of our freshmen return for sophomore year.
