“I grew up in that office. From the support of the staff to the camaraderie with fellow student leaders, we were one big family.” “These skills took me to the next level in grad school interviews immediately after leaving ISU. The skill sets I acquired from Admissions exceeded any experience I doubted I had for the role and I was able to stay on campus Downtown Chicago and get my Masters program covered financially!”

"The position taught me how to speak with confidence and conviction, and it improved my ability to create meaningful relationships within a short time span. Whether it be working with talent, crafting a sales pitch, selling an idea, or hosting an informational interview with a company executive, being able to gracefully articulate my thoughts concisely and persuasively does wonders to my relationships and reputation at the company.”

“As a tour guide, I learned how to quickly build rapport, the importance of individualized focus, and experienced collaborating with professionals. I was often told that as a tour guide, it is not always about what I say about the campus, but how I make people feel.”
