Bachelor of Science Graduation Requirement in Science, Mathematics and Technology (BS-SMT) Graduation Requirement
Students pursuing a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree must have one additional science, mathematics, statistics, and/or technology course (beyond the General Education requirements) which must meet three criteria:
- courses must be three credit hours or greater;
- courses must list specific prerequisites from General Education courses in mathematics and/or science, approved natural science alternative courses, or courses in the quantitative reasoning category; and
- course content must be mathematical, scientific, and/or technological, and must constitute a significant extension of the General Education courses that count as prerequisites.
