Being Successful in the Field
The skills that marketing majors learn help prepare students for success in the field. These skills include analysis, research, critical thinking, and communications. In teaching these skills clases use simulations, client projects, role plays, guest speakers, internships, and more.
Related Fields
Fields related to or under the umbrella of marketing include our sequences: professional sales, advanced marketing analytics, and integrated marketing communications. Each of the sequences presents a more in-depth examination of the area of marketing. Other related fields include services marketing, fund raising, market research, public relations, brand management, retail management, and retail buying.
