All sports communication students will need a strong grasp of all forms of media and their role in the sports ecosystem, including audience analysis, strategic uses, and understanding impacts of use. Depending on the student’s career interests, skills needed include managerial competency, on-camera capability, media production, writing, media relations, and sports analysis.
