Implementation Team Actions
- Academic Affairs partnered with Career Services to award approximately $120,000 in grants to allow students the opportunities to take unpaid internships and advance their career prospects. The division also issued approximately 500 laptops to students through the use of GEER funds in collaboration with Technology Solutions. Work continues on the Institutional Transformation Assessment for Student Success and Equity grant through the Association of Public Land-grant Universities.
- Milner Library provided 220 free electronic textbooks and access codes to reduce the cost of textbooks for students.
- As of January 2022, has distributed almost $100,000 in micro-grants and will distribute about the same in Spring 2022. Since its inception in May 2018, the Persistence Committee has discussed 500 student situations and awarded over $450,000.
