Task Force Project: Develop a long-term plan with students, pertinent campus partners and faculty/staff to establish a cultural center in the next 5 years.

Implementation Team Actions
- President Larry Dietz announced the location for the new campus Multicultural Center during his 2019 State of the University Address. The center will be located in the current Instructional Technology and Development Center, 301 S. Main Street, Normal.
- Dr. Christa Platt has been named the new director of the Multicultural Center. Her team is working with students, faculty, and staff for the realization of the center in the spring of 2021.
The Center is scheduled to open in the spring of 2021.
