Implementation Team Actions
OEOA is working with campus and Town of Normal officials to address student concerns regarding audible signals at cross-walks.
- OEOA is working with facilities to ensure that repairs and on-going projects provide for accessible working and learning facilities. OEOA also works with campus partners to ensure accessible routes remain during on-going construction and renovations.
- The University is reviewing campus physical and digital spaces to ensure compliance with applicable federal and state law. This process is ongoing and will continue to be conducted to address the issues and needs of our campus community. Projects currently under way include additional campus signage, sidewalk updates, and a number of other projects to provide a more accessible campus and community.
Continue to review campus accessibility and take steps to ensure an accessible working and learning environment for the ISU community and visitors to campus.
