Implementation Team Actions

  • The Office of Equal Opportunity and Access (OEOA) has been working on a variety of diversity, equity, inclusion, and civil rights compliance educational programs for faculty, staff, and students. This training is in addition to the mandated training offered in the fall.
  • The Mandatory Reporter Training, offered each October, has been revised and updated to ensure compliance with federal and state requirements.

Next Step/Timeline

  • OEOA is including a separate "training" tab on its website. This page will list specific training that is offered by the office. It will include those trainings that can be customized to fit a particular department.  This will also include new training related to the Americans with Disabilities Act and Title IX compliance.
  • OEOA also intends to undertake a marketing campaign to inform the campus of those trainings and services offered by the office.
